📘 How to Add a New Plan

Follow these steps to create and configure a new subscription plan in the LivaChat admin panel:

  1. Before adding a pricing plan, ensure that you’ve completed the payment gateway setup under App Settings → Payment Gateways.
  2. Go to Admin Panel → Plans → Pricing Plans.
  3. Click the “Add Pricing Plan” button. You’ll be redirected to the Plan Creation page.
  4. Select the Plan Type
    • Choose whether the plan is:
    • Free – You can create:
      • A Free Trial plan (free for a limited number of trial days), or
      • A Free Forever plan (completely free, with no upgrade required).
    • Paid – Requires users to make a payment once their trial period ends.
      • Enter the Monthly Price and Yearly Price.
      • Optionally, enter Discounted Prices for monthly and yearly plans to offer promotions or special rates.
      • All prices are displayed in USD ($) by default.
    • Set the plan’s Status to Active to make it visible on the pricing page.
    • To highlight a specific plan, check the “Mark as Recommended” option.
  5. Enter Basic Plan Details
    • Plan Name: Provide a unique, descriptive name (e.g., Starter, Pro, Enterprise).
    • Description: Write a brief summary highlighting what the plan includes or who it’s best suited for.
  6. Assign Plan Features
    • A list of available features will appear on the page.
    • Select the features you want to include in the plan by checking the appropriate boxes.
    • Example features:
      • Live Chat
      • Ticket Management
      • Agent Creation
      • Role Creation
      • Storage Limit
  7. Save the Plan
    • After filling in all the details, click the “Save” button.
    • Your new plan will now appear in the plans list and be displayed on the public pricing page.
How to Add Plan Addons

Admins can enhance any subscription plan by attaching additional addons. These addons include Conversation Addon and StorageLimit Addon, each with customizable limits, pricing, and validity.

  • Navigate to Adminpanel->Plans->Pricing Addons
    Click the "Add Addon" Button

    This opens a modal window where you can configure addons for the selected plan.

  • Select Addon Type

    Choose between the following addon types:

    • Conversation Addon: Grants additional conversations beyond the base plan limit.
    • StorageLimit Addon: Allows extra Storage (e.g., livechat files or ticket files) for the user.
  • Enter Addon Details

    For each addon, fill in the required fields:

    • Count: The number of extra units (e.g., 100 conversations, 5 Mb/GB/unlimited.)
    • Validity: Duration the addon will remain active (e.g., 30 days, 1 year).
    • Price: The cost of the addon (in your configured currency).
    • Set the Add On status to "ON" to visible in pricing page
  • Save the Addon

    After configuring, click the “Save” button to attach the addon to the plan. It will now be available for users during subscription or upgrade.

Note: Customers can register for free under both plans and use the services during the trial period. After the trial period, payment is required to continue using the services.
